The Russian retail market for fillers and biorevitalizers in January–November 2025 demonstrated the highest growth in value terms over the past three years. Compared with the same period of 2024, sales value increased by 33.8% in ruble terms and reached RUB 34.1 billion (at retail prices, including VAT). Growth rates of physical consumption were notably lower over the reporting period: demand increased by 9.4% year on year in minimum dosing units (MDUs). During the first eleven months of 2025, almost 5.7 million MDUs of fillers and biorevitalizers were sold at retail. At the same time, consumption dynamics slowed somewhat, having previously been characterized by double-digit growth rates: in 2024, growth amounted to +18% in MDUs, and in 2023 to +16%.
According to data from the RNC Pharma database Audit of Retail Sales of Injectable Aesthetic Products in Russia (total sell out), more than 200 trade names of fillers and biorevitalizers were present on the market. The absolute leader in terms of value sales is the Belotero product line by Merz Pharma, which accounts for around 10.9% of the total value of the category on the Russian retail market. Compared with January–November 2024, the brand’s growth amounted to +32% in rubles and +23% in MDUs. Second place in the ranking is retained by the Novacutan brand from Laboratoires Fijie, with an 8.5% share of the market in value terms; the product also demonstrated strong growth, both in value and in MDUs, at approximately +53%. Third place was taken by the Meso biorevitalizer line from ABG LAB, with a 6.4% market share; over the year, sales of the product increased by 43% in rubles and by 32% in MDUs.
Within the top ten brands, the highest growth rates were recorded for Plinest by the Italian manufacturer Mastelli: over the year, brand sales increased 2.3-fold in value terms and by 97% in MDUs. It is worth noting that almost all Top-10 brands showed positive dynamics in physical units, with the exception of Profhilo by the Italian company IBSA. Against the backdrop of an increase in value sales (+15%), physical consumption of this product declined by 4% in MDUs, with demand falling primarily for the two-injection biorevitalizer kit.
Outside the Top-10, a significant decline in sales was also observed for the Juvederm brand by Allergan (AbbVie division). The product has been rapidly losing popularity following the suspension of official supplies to Russia; as a result, the brand exited the Top-10 and ranked 15th, with sales down 29% in value terms.
In addition, several new cosmetic products, mainly of South Korean origin, entered the market in 2024. One of them is a hybrid collagen stimulator based on polylactic and hyaluronic acids, marketed under the Lenisna brand (by Weim). While only a few packages of this product were sold in 2024, more than 2.6 thousand units were already sold in 2025.
