In the first ten months of 2025, 40.8 thousand medical oxygen concentrators were sold in the Russian retail market, including marketplace and FMCG channels, with total sales amounting to 867.0 million rubles (at retail prices, including VAT). According to the “Retail Sales Audit of Medical Devices in Russia (total sell-out)” database by analytics company RNC Pharma, physical sales grew by nearly 47% versus January–October 2024, while value growth exceeded 19%. Notably, strong demand has persisted for the second year in a row: in 2024, compared with 2023, unit sales increased by 41% and total spending on these devices grew by 23%.
The primary distribution channel for oxygen concentrators in the retail market is online. In 2025, marketplaces accounted for 86% of total unit sales and approximately 72% of value sales. Ozon and Wildberries dominate this segment — based on our estimates, these two platforms alone sold roughly 33 thousand devices since the beginning of the year. The second most significant channel is FMCG retail (13% in units and 27% in value), which is largely represented by home appliance and electronics chains; oxygen concentrators are, in particular, well represented in the M.Video chain. By contrast, the pharmacy segment shows minimal activity: all Russian pharmacies combined sold only 441 devices in January–October 2025, corresponding to a market share of about 1%.
The category is highly diverse and includes a wide range of models, from basic low-output devices with limited functionality to high-performance machines that, in addition to generating oxygen for breathing, may function as a nebulizer or include modules for producing oxygen cocktails. Prices vary significantly, ranging from 12–15 thousand rubles to 200–250 thousand rubles, with the average retail price standing at 21.2 thousand rubles per unit.
The absolute leader in both value and unit sales is the Russian company Armed, which sells oxygen concentrators under the same brand name and offers the broadest product line, comprising 15 models. In January–October 2025, the company accounted for 44.6% of the market’s value, although its growth rate was relatively modest at about 12% in rubles. The second position, with a share of 12%, belongs to the Longfian brand, although its sales declined by 6% due to a reduction in total units sold.
Record-high value growth was observed for the brands Oxy and Atmung. In the first case, sales increased 9.5-fold; in the second, 2.9-fold. These brands are primarily represented by higher-priced devices: Oxy models retail for around 97.5 thousand rubles, and their sales only began in the second half of 2024.
