In Q1–Q2 2026, the Russian retail market for botulinum toxins exceeded RUB 10.3 billion (at retail prices, including VAT). Compared to the first half of 2025, the volume grew by 30.9% in rubles, accompanied by a significant increase in physical consumption of 20.5% — to 102.4 million units of activity (U). These figures confirm the continuation of a long-term trend of intensive market development, which accelerated in 2025, when total annual sales volume reached 181.9 million U worth RUB 16.9 billion, showing growth compared to 2024 of 38.2% in physical terms and 46.8% in value terms.

In the first half of 2026, the complex distribution system for botulinum toxins in the retail market was characterized by the strengthening of specialized channels, which are retail structures of specialized distributors of cosmetic products and consumables. Clients of such channels are often private practicing cosmetologists. According to the database "Retail Audit of Injectable Cosmetic Product Sales in Russia (total sell out)" from the analytical company RNC Pharma, in Q1–Q2 2026, this channel accounted for 45.8% of the total volume of units of activity sold. Another 30% of the physical volume of drugs was sold directly as part of cosmetic services within clinics. A notable vector of segment development has been the consistent decline in the share of the pharmacy sales channel; this process has been ongoing for four years, and during the analyzed period, the pharmacy share did not exceed 24%.

In January–June 2026, retail sales of botulinum toxins showed a notable strengthening of the positions of Russian manufacturers. Despite the French brand Dysport (Ipsen) generating gross retail sales of 62.7 million U worth RUB 4.2 billion, its actual therapeutic volume (converted to equivalent doses at a 3:1 ratio) amounted to approximately 20.9 million U, which is lower than that of the domestic Relatox from Nacimbio. The latter accumulated more than 23% of the market in equivalent units, with a result of 23.4 million U. The Russian drug also showed higher dynamics: +34% in physical terms and +49% in value terms, while Dysport sales increased by 20% in U and 27% in rubles.

Another domestic brand — Myotox (Innopharm) — holds third place in the category, with revenue growing by 9% over the year, despite a slight decline in physical volumes of 2%. Among foreign brands, the German Xeomin from Merz Pharma showed leading growth, adding 32% in physical terms and 46% in value terms over the year. The Korean Novacutan-BTA (Institut Krasoty Fizi), on the contrary, showed a 3% decline in physical sales with a 10% increase in consumer spending. Notably, the American Botox from Allergan, whose official supplies ceased back in 2022, still retains some positions: over the reporting period, more than 323 thousand U were sold, with the decline in volumes limited to 5% in U and 3% in rubles. A much deeper reduction in presence was recorded for the South Korean Botulax from Hugel, whose retail sales sharply fell by 42% in units of activity and 19% in monetary terms.
